Lucy Vogt

Growing up, spending summers on the Maine coast, Lucy fell in love with the ocean and the great outdoors. One of her favorite activities was tagging along with her dad to the local fish market and playing sous chef while he grilled the fish to perfection.

From there, Lucy discovered her passion for sustainability and ocean conservation and is now pursuing a degree in Environmental Policy at Northwestern University. During her studies, she spent six months researching marine conservation policy and Australia’s indigenous history at the University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia.

More recently, Lucy interned at the Environmental Defense Fund, where she collaborated with lobbyists and ocean experts on projects related to U.S. fisheries and offshore aquaculture. Her time at EDF further ignited her deep interest in sourcing sustainable seafood, building resilience in local communities, and ultimately protecting the oceans.
